I decided to spend some time at George Floyd Square (the George Floyd memorial) for the first time. Living in Saint Paul and working from home full time I rarely travel to Minneapolis and with the recent civil unrest was unsure about my safety but was pleasantly surprised to see how peaceful everyone acted at the memorial. If you live in the Twin Cities I highly encourage you to drive out to 38th and Chicago Ave S in Minneapolis to see the memorial.
I was moved beyond belief by the memorial and cried throughout taking these vivid photographs. I hope they move you and make you think about the ongoing racial inequality in our country.
